Welcome to Go Ants.
By placing an order with us, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
1. About Us
Go Ants is a UK-based retailer of live ants, ant colonies, and ant-keeping supplies. Right now we currently ship only within the United Kingdom.
2. Eligibility
By placing an order, you confirm that:
You are at least 18 years old or have permission from a parent or guardian.
You will comply with all applicable UK laws and regulations regarding the keeping of ants.
You will provide accurate shipping and contact information.
3. Products
We make every effort to accurately describe our products. However:
Photographs are for illustration purposes only.
Colony size, worker count, colouration, and development stage may vary.
Availability is subject to change without notice.
4. Live invert Sales
All live inverts are sold for responsible keeping purposes only.
Customers are responsible for providing suitable housing, food, and care.
Ant behaviour, colony growth, and lifespan cannot be guaranteed.
5. Shipping
UK Shipping Only, Go Ants ships exclusively to addresses within the United Kingdom.
Delivery times are estimates and are not guaranteed.
We are not responsible for delays caused by couriers, severe weather, strikes, or other circumstances beyond our control.
Customers are responsible for ensuring the delivery address is correct.
6. Live Arrival Guarantee
a live arrival guarantee is offered:
Any issue with a live ant shipment must be reported within 12 hours of delivery.
Clear photographs or videos must be provided.
Claims made after this period may not be eligible for replacement or refund.
We reserve the right to determine whether a replacement, store credit, or refund will be provided.
The guarantee does not apply where:
The delivery address was incorrect.
The package was left unattended for an extended period.
The ants were harmed due to customer actions after delivery.
7. Returns and Refunds
Live isects Due to the nature of live animals, live ants and colonies cannot normally be returned.
8. Customer Responsibilities
Customers agree to:
Keep ants responsibly and humanely.
Prevent escapes and accidental release into the environment.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Go Ants shall not be liable for:
Losses arising from improper care of ants.
Delays caused by delivery services.
Indirect or consequential losses resulting from the use of our products.
Nothing in these Terms excludes rights that customers have under UK consumer law.
10 . Fertile guarantee
We offer a 180-day fertility guarantee for fresh queens who have never had workers.
If you suspect your queen is not fertile, we have a structured process to address this, provided you show proof such as photos
11. Privacy
Personal information provided during the ordering process will only be used for fulfilling orders, customer support, and legal obligations.
We do not sell customer data to third parties.
12. Changes to These TermsGo Ants may update these Terms and Conditions at any time.
